the promise, stated plainly
Using GLOOMBORG — browsing the site, reading the findings, calling the API — collects, stores, transmits, and shares no personal data. There are no accounts beyond a random API key, no analytics, no cookies, no tracking pixels, no crash reporters, no ads, no fingerprinting.
The newsletter. If you choose to subscribe, we store exactly one thing — your email address — and use it for exactly one purpose: to send you the newsletter. Nothing else. Unsubscribe link in every email, and we delete you when you ask. That is the only personal data GLOOMBORG ever holds, and we're telling you it exists rather than hiding it behind "zero data" copy.
The API serves market data. It does not collect who asked for it. Request logging, where it exists, is for the health of the service, not for watching you — and it carries no identity.
There is no server full of your data to breach, no database to subpoena, no profile to sell — because there is nothing to breach. The absence is the feature.
